Annual General Meeting-2021

We are happy to announce that now YES Bangladesh has a standard Human Resource Guideline to comfort its staff and volunteers along with a Financial Management Guideline to ensure accountability in all level. A four year strategic plan has also been developed.

On October 22, Annual General Meeting of YES Bangladesh was held at UST Training Centre, Adabor, Muhammadpur, Dhaka. Shamim Ahmed, President of YES Bangladesh presided over the meeting. In the beginning Shovon Shahriar, General Secretary of YES Bangladesh read the Annual Activity Report. Then the draft Financial and HR Guideline were presented before the executive committee for finalization, then YES Bangladesh President signed the finalized guidelines with the approval of Executive Committee.

Beat the Myth Campaign-2021

Youth Engagement For Sustainability, Bangladesh and YFC BD and are jointly organized a special game show campaign titled “Take your step, Know your rights: #BeatTheMyth” on 23rd September 2021 under the Y-Moves Project with the support of Aparajeyo-Bangladesh and Plan International Bangladesh.  More than 150 youth participants from Barishal attend in this game to fight against the taboo and myths on SRHR. The program adorned by Honorable guests from local administration, specialists from NGOs and prominent youth activists.


Training on SDG Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism-2021

Training on SDG Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism-2021 held at BRAC University Residential Campus, Birulia, Savar, Dhaka in 2 separated batch. The training of first batch was from 18th March to 20th March and the second batch was from 20th march to 23rd March. With support from Plan International Bangladesh’s Y-Moves Project funded by SIDA, Ain Salish Kendra (ASK) and YES Bangladesh jointly organized the training.

Total number of 137 YES Bangladesh Central and districts Volunteers from 64 districts and 3 Youth for Change Bangladesh Members participated in two batch.
