FOUNDER OF YES Bangladesh
I AM VERY PLEASED TO PRESENT THAT YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABILITY (YES), BANGLADESH IS ONE OF THE NATIONWIDE YOUTH FOCUSED, NON-PROFIT AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION WHICH IS INITIATED IN JULY 2018, TO CREATE PLATFORM FOR THE CHILD, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ESPECIALLY WOMEN.
YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABILITY (YES), BANGLADESH IS WORKING TO ESTABLISH CHILD RIGHTS, YOUTH RIGHTS AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT IN ORDER TO BUILD ACTIVE CITIZENS WHO ARE ABLE TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIETY.
YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABILITY (YES), BANGLADESH HAS BEEN CONTRIBUTING TO SOME EXTENT TOWARDS REACHING THE SDG GOALS AND ITS MISSION AND VISION.
YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABILITY (YES), BANGLADESH AIM’S TO GIVE THE YOUTH A COMMON SPACE WHERE CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLES AND ESPECIALLY WOMEN CAN EXPRESS THEIR VIEWS, IDEAS, EXPERIENCES, DEMANDS AND ADVOCATE TO BRING A POSITIVE CHANGE IN THE SOCIETY.
YES BANGLADESH WILL CREATE A SCOPE FOR CAPACITY BUILDING OF YOUNG PEOPLES ON GENDER, CLIMATE CHANGE/ACTION, EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS, SRHR ,CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND MORE .AND GRADUALLY MAKE THE DRIVER OF CHANGE . YES BANGLADESH WILL SIMULTANEOUSLY WORK WITH ADOLESCENT CHILDREN TO BRING THE ADOLESCENT AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN ONE UMBRELLA AND WILL IMPROVE PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER YOUTH ACTIVISTS, NETWORK AND ORGANIZATIONS WHO WORK WITH THE SAME OBJECTIVES. AS WELL AS, ARRANGE ADVOCACY SESSIONS TO BRING MEANINGFUL CHANGES IN THE POLICIES THAT ARE RELATED WITH THE INTEREST OF CHILDREN’S AND YOUTHS SUCH AS THE CHILD MARRIAGE RESTRAINT ACT 2017 OF BANGLADESH.
