YES Bangladesh brought together 70 young changemakers from 57 districts and representatives from eight political parties to foster meaningful dialogue on youth priorities, democratic participation, and Bangladesh’s future. The event reinforced the importance of youth voices in shaping inclusive public policies and accountable governance. On 10 September 2025, Youth Engagement for Sustainability (YES) Bangladesh organized the National Youth Policy Dialogue 2025, bringing together 70 young changemakers from 57 districts across Bangladesh to engage in meaningful dialogue with representatives of major political parties. The event created a unique platform where young people could directly share their concerns, aspirations, and policy recommendations with national political leaders.The programme commenced with welcome remarks from Fahmida Haque Nishi, Executive Director of YES Bangladesh, while the session was moderated by Safayet Zamil Nowshan, Organizing Secretary of YES Bangladesh and a prominent youth human rights activist.Throughout the dialogue, participants raised critical issues affecting young people, including youth participation in decision-making, quality education, employment and entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, climate action, governance, and democratic inclusion. The interactive discussions encouraged constructive exchanges between young citizens and political leaders on policies that will shape Bangladesh’s future.

The political leaders shared their visions and commitments for creating a more inclusive, democratic, and opportunity-driven Bangladesh for young people, while responding to questions and recommendations from participants.The event concluded with an inspiring address by Iffat Ara Jahan, Vice President of YES Bangladesh, who emphasized that young people are not only the future of Bangladesh but active leaders driving positive change today.The National Youth Policy Dialogue 2025 reaffirmed YES Bangladesh’s commitment to strengthening youth participation in democratic processes, promoting constructive political dialogue, and creating platforms where young voices can influence policies and contribute to a more inclusive and accountable Bangladesh
